I am a HUGE fan of Mechanical Pencils. I actually collect them. I have some very nice Vintage one's I'm very fond of.  But for artwork I love these Pentel .09 babies.  Love the roll up eraser and the easy click mechanism used to advance the lead. Comes with 2 eraser refills and 12 pieces of lead included in pack.

I love colored pencils. And if they are in a handy tin I swoon.  I see a lot of people store their pencils in jars on their desktop, but I store mine in the tins they come. I find it keeps them from breaking. I can keep them grouped in color order. And when I am done. They stack nicely in a drawer.
